Reiki At Work

Offering at-work Reiki Treatments to your teams will not only express your concern for and commitment to their wellbeing, but it can also inspire employee loyalty and contribute to a positive and productive work culture. Reiki is known to reduce stress, anxiety, tension and pain. Reiki’s calming effect also promotes sound sleep and supports the immune system. Employees who partake in Reiki Treatments will emerge relaxed yet energized and focused. Happier and healthier employees tend to feel more invested in their work, are more productive and are less likely to take time off due to stress and physical ailments. Some employees may also be inspired to become trained to offer Reiki in the organization. Please contact me for more information.

Retirement Homes: Reiki-In-Residence Program

As a former Sales Consultant for Retirement Residences for 10 years, I have identified numerous benefits of integrating Reiki Treatments as well as Reiki Training & Certification into the wellness and activity programs for Residents. And, as described above in Reiki At Work, there are additional benefits for employees as well as volunteers and family caregivers. Please contact me for more comprehensive information.

Hospitals, Hospices & LTC

Numerous hospitals are increasingly integrating Reiki Treatments as a complementary therapy in patient care plans because it is a gentle and non-invasive healing modality that can be used in conjunction with allopathic medical protocols.  Reiki practitioners treat patients for conditions cancer, chronic pain, anxiety, infertility, digestive problems, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, diabetes, pre and post-op care, heart attack and stroke care, psychological illnesses.

In today’s climate of staff shortages, the challenge faced by many care providers is they are often overwhelmed with competing multiple duties and may not be available to offer complementary therapies such as Reiki when needed. In response to this challenge, volunteers can be Trained and Certified to offer Reiki to patients and their families, as well as to staff and other volunteers. To discuss a program for your hospital, hospice or Long Term Care Home, please contact me.
